FAQ

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM OUR SESSION?

My work is modern and colorful, but never trendy. No matching outfits, no babies in baskets… you and your family just as you are. I like to blend photojournalism with portraiture. We can shoot in a local park, outside somewhere that’s meaningful to your family, or in your own home/backyard. (Which is always my preference.) There will be lots of silliness, lots of fun, and you’ll come away with a nice mix of portraits and candid photographs.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH FAMILIES WITHOUT KIDS?

Absolutely. I photograph all families, whether your family was created by blood or by choice. Two parents with kids; one parent with kids; a couple and their dog. A family is whatever you make of it, and I want to photograph whatever your definition of family may be.

WE LIVE OUTSIDE OF NYC, CAN WE STILL HIRE YOU?

Of course! In addition to the five boroughs, I often photograph family sessions in northern New Jersey and Long Island. I will also travel further afield on a case by case basis.

DO YOU OFFER MINI SESSIONS?

I do! I offer mini sessions year round in Central Park and Riverside Park.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?

I recommend booking a couple months in advance if you’d like to secure a weekend date, particularly in the spring and fall, which are my busiest times of year. I only shoot a two weekends a month (so I can spend the rest of the time with my own family), and those dates fill up quickly.

IS YOUR BUSINESS LEGIT?

It is. This is not my hobby, this is my career. I operate as a LLC and make sure all my practices are in accordance with local laws and regulations. I have been a full-time photographer for nine years, and I am highly professional in the way I operate my business.

WHEN WILL WE SEE OUR PHOTOGRAPHS AFTER THE SESSION?

It takes four weeks to fully post process a session, but you will see a sneak peek on my blog within 48 hours of your session!

WE STILL HAVE QUESTIONS…

And I have answers! Just drop me a note, and I will get back to you within 24 hours.
